A Family Legacy
Lost Creek’s name stems from a desire to remember my roots and the influence of my family who paved the way for where I am today.
My grandfather, Francis Winkel, was an entrepreneur and owned a successful redwood lumber company in California, as well as a cattle ranch in Utah where I spent a lot of my time as a child. Running right through the heart of that ranch is a creek named Lost Creek. The main barn and ranch house, which I grew to love, were located just off Lost Creek Road.
Lost Creek Construction bears its name to remind me of the legacy of my parents and grandparents, and of the desire I have to leave a similar legacy of hard work, honesty, creativity, and integrity for my children and future grandchildren.
